There was a time that you could use the fire roads in Custer State Parks to explore in your 4WD. We discovered and old CCC camp from the 1930's. |

We got stuck and took most of the day to get out. We were 10 miles to the nearest paved road. |

We would drop the tire pressure to about 5psi and could go anywhere in the sand. |
