When the last eruption of Mount Saint Helens began in October, 2004, it dominated
coffee shop conversation and news
in the northwest. Bill visited Mt. Saint Helens twice in October,
2004 and
photographed one of the larger eruptions of that year. News agencies
and spectators from all over America were there, hoping to see the
mountain show off. The weather was beautiful and Mount Saint
Helens didn't disappoint anyone.
